Some of these books have connections to others you may have read.  Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the first book in a famous series.  The Golden Compass begins the trilogy His Dark Materials, an even more challenging British fantasy series popular with adults and children.  The Lost Symbol is the latest adventure of Robert Landgon, the hero of Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code.  The Silmarrillion includes stories that take place in the same world as Tolkien’s most famous works, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
