New resources, December 19, 2012: Something for everyone

How do you learn best?  There are many types of learners.  Some people are visual learners:  they remember what they see.  Auditory learners remember what they hear, and tactile or kinesthetic learners remember what they experience while doing activities.  Some people prefer reading books for information while others prefer DVDs and CD-ROMs that allow them to hear as well as see new knowledge.  The IHE Library has something for every type of learner.

We received new resources including the 2013 edition of the book Step-by-Step Medical Coding by Carol J. Buck (call number RB115 .B83 2013, ISBN 9781455744657).  We also received new DVDs and a CD-ROM, including:
  • Malamed's Local Anesthesia Administration DVD:  A set of 3 DVDs (call number RK510 .M33 2004 DVD, ISBN 9780323089166)
  • Student DVD-ROM to Accompany Phone Skills for the Information Age by Dorothy Maxwell (call number HF5541.T4 M39 2006 DVD, ISBN 0073017299)
  • Anatomy & Physiology Revealed, CD-ROM (call number QP34.5 .A538 2008 DVD, ISBN 9780073378206)

What other types of materials do you think the library should have?
